Our customer came to us because they were processing patient prescription requests manually. Their process involved the review of several pages of patient health records, electronic medical records, scanned patient information, faxes, and physicians’ handwritten notes, which took hours and had a high potential for human error. This customer wanted to mitigate the cost and hours spent manually reviewing these documents and create an automated document review process.
Infinia ML configured our IDP platform for automated review of patient records designed to exist in a hybrid integration environment. This solution met stringent data security requirements while still offering the benefits of a managed service cloud platform for document processing. Secure hybrid integration was vital due to the sensitive nature of healthcare information and regulatory compliance requirements involved.
A human-in-the-loop component was also built into the configuration to confirm and improve the performance of the solution and as a way to scale to new policies and customers in the future.
